A private household on the Upper East Side is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain two apartment units located in the same building. The ideal candidate will have strong private household housekeeping experience, excellent laundry and garment-care skills, and the ability to maintain a 3,000+ square foot residence to a polished, high standard.

This position is best suited for someone who is professional, meticulous, fluent in English, comfortable working independently, and truly enjoys being around dogs.

Main Work Duties:

Perform detailed housekeeping for two apartment units located in the same building
Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, main living areas, kitchens, and shared household spaces
Keep both residences neat, organized, and consistently well-presented
Handle household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting items away properly
Provide special care for certain garments and household linens, including steaming, pressing, and ironing as needed
Maintain closets, drawers, laundry areas, and household spaces in an orderly condition
Feed and walk the family’s dogs as needed
Keep household supplies organized and notify the family when items are running low
Maintain a clean, calm, and professional household environment
No cooking required
