Position Type: Live-out in NY; housing provided in FL during winter season.
Residence Requirement: Must reside in Long Island, NY.
Travel: Required seasonal relocation to FL; candidate must reside in Palm Beach, FL during the winter months (housing provided).
Schedule: Primarily weekends; days off during the week.
Seasonal Schedule:
- Summer: May 15 – October 1 (Southampton, NY).
- Winter: Mid-November – End of April (Palm Beach, FL).
Hours: Typically 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexibility required).
Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000/year, Paid via W2 (on the books).
Benefits: Health insurance stipend.

A private family with residences in Southampton, NY and Palm Beach, FL is seeking a full-time, Housekeeper to support the upkeep and smooth operation of their vacation homes. This is a long-term opportunity for a detail-oriented, flexible, and team-oriented professional who enjoys maintaining high standards in a dynamic, seasonal household. There are two dogs in the home; must be comfortable working around pets.
The ideal candidate is proactive, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable traveling between residences throughout the year.
Main Work Duties:
Housekeeping & Household Maintenance:
- Perform detailed daily cleaning and periodic deep cleaning of all areas of the home.
- Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to a consistently high standard.
- Care for fine furnishings, delicate surfaces, and specialty materials using proper techniques.
- Ensure homes are always guest-ready, especially prior to family arrivals.
Laundry & Wardrobe Care:
- Handle all laundry including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and steaming.
- Care for delicate fabrics and garments with attention to proper handling and storage.
- Change linens and maintain organized closets and storage areas.
Household Organization & Upkeep:
- Maintain organization of pantries, closets, and storage spaces.
- Monitor and restock household supplies and cleaning products.
- Prepare the home for arrivals and close down/refresh the home during departures.
- Assist with light errands such as grocery runs or supply pickups as needed.

- Able to travel consistently between New York and Florida.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ solid years of housekeeping experience for a private home.
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Must be able to temporarily relocate and reside in Palm Beach, FL during the winter season (mid-November through April).
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
